Rosehip Oil is commonly used in skin care products. It is commonly used for skin conditions, including dermatitis, acne, and eczema, for mature and sun burnt skin as well as brittle nails and wrinkles. Rose hip oil is also frequently used to heal scarring and diminish photo-aging. It quickly absorbs into the skin replenishing moisture and creates a protective barrier on the skin to help prevent dehydration.
It comes in a 4oz pretty glass bottle with a dropper. I expected rose hip oil to smell like roses. But it doesn’t. While it has a scent to it, it’s not a bad scent. It absorbs into my skin quickly without leaving it greasy. I've been adding it to my homemade soaps and lotions. I also use on the stretch marks on my belly and thighs. I noticed a slight difference in the appearance of the marks/scars, but it is not in any way a miracle cure.
